To stay up to date with my upcoming release with Revell books, visit me on my author website <3.

I am a lover of words. A professional introvert. A poet’s heart. A seeker of still quiet moments in which God speaks.

I received my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Before deciding to become a stay-at-home parent I spent my days helping children, families, and individuals navigate life’s challenging moments years. Check out my Free Resources link to learn more.

I have been married to my husband for 14 years, and we have three amazing children. They teach me the meaning of love every day. They are all pretty great, but my golden retriever is the best friend a girl could have.

I crave the great outdoors, pen and paper, the sound of my children’s laughter, and exploring new places with the love of my life. (Oh, and good fiction and good coffee. You can’t have too much of either!) I write about everyday occurrences God uses to reveal deep-rooted truths of how He relates with His people.

Take a pause from all the noise, and have a cup of coffee with me.

I would love to hear from you. Message me at amanda@hopeperch.com

  1. Our Faith-based book club in Overland Park Kansas has just read your book THE EDGE OF BELONGING. I am leading our discussion and just came across your website. I wish I had found it earlier! Our discussion is Tuesday, March 1 at 1:00. I know that is impossibly short notice for the meeting, but we would love to have any resources you have for the book discussion. Now OR later. We loved Harvey and your story of deep love and healing. We’re so glad we found you on the Christy Book Award List. Congratulations! I look forward to hearing from you.
